By accessing or using Yunxin API services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

## 2. Account Registration [#2-account-registration]

* You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
* You may register using email/password or supported OAuth providers (Google, GitHub, Discord).
* You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
* You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).

## 3. Use of Services [#3-use-of-services]

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

* Use the Services to generate illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content
* Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Services
* Use the Services to create competing products or services
* Attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or usage restrictions
* Share or redistribute API access to unauthorized third parties
* Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

## 4. API Keys [#4-api-keys]

API keys are confidential credentials. You are responsible for:

* Keeping your API keys secure and not sharing them publicly
* All activities that occur under your API keys
* Rotating keys periodically and upon suspected compromise
* Notifying us immediately if you discover any unauthorized use

## 5. Billing & Credits [#5-billing--credits]

### Credit-Based Billing [#credit-based-billing]

* Our Services use a **credit-based** billing system. Credits are consumed based on model usage, token count, and other parameters.
* Credit prices vary by model and are listed on our pricing page.
* Credits are non-transferable between accounts.

### Tier Plans [#tier-plans]

* We offer multiple subscription tiers (Free, Basic, Pro, Enterprise) with different features and priority levels.
* Tier subscription fees are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle.
* You may cancel your subscription at any time; benefits remain active until the end of the current period.

### Payment Processing [#payment-processing]

* Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
* You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is current and valid.

## 6. Intellectual Property [#6-intellectual-property]

* Content generated through the Services is owned by you, subject to the underlying model provider's terms.
* You retain ownership of your input data.
* We do not use your input or output data to train models.

## 7. Data & File Storage [#7-data--file-storage]

* Files uploaded through our API are stored securely and are accessible only to your account.
* We may delete files after a period of inactivity as specified in our documentation.
* You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any files through the Services.

## 8. Service Availability [#8-service-availability]

* We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
* We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice.
* We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services with reasonable notice.

## 9. Beta Program [#9-beta-program]

* Beta access is limited to university students and educators with a valid .edu.tw email address.
* School and role information you provide during application must be truthful and accurate.
* Beta spots are limited. We reserve the right to reject any application without providing a reason.
* Service availability, model access, and rate limits may change at any time during the beta period.
* We may collect additional usage data during the beta period to improve service quality.

## 10. Termination [#10-termination]

* We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.
* You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
* Upon termination, unused credits may be subject to our Refund Policy.

## 11. Limitation of Liability [#11-limitation-of-liability]

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

* Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
* We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
* Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim

## 12. Changes to Terms [#12-changes-to-terms]

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
