1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Yunxin API services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You may register using email/password or supported OAuth providers (Google, GitHub, Discord).
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction).

3. Use of Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Services to generate illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Services
• Use the Services to create competing products or services
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or usage restrictions
• Share or redistribute API access to unauthorized third parties
• Use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

4. API Keys

API keys are confidential credentials. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your API keys secure and not sharing them publicly
• All activities that occur under your API keys
• Rotating keys periodically and upon suspected compromise
• Notifying us immediately if you discover any unauthorized use

5. Billing & Credits

Credit-Based Billing

• Our Services use a credit-based billing system. Credits are consumed based on model usage, token count, and other parameters.
• Credit prices vary by model and are listed on our pricing page.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts.

Tier Plans

• We offer multiple subscription tiers (Free, Basic, Pro, Enterprise) with different features and priority levels.
• Tier subscription fees are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; benefits remain active until the end of the current period.

Payment Processing

• Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
• You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is current and valid.

6. Intellectual Property

• Content generated through the Services is owned by you, subject to the underlying model provider's terms.
• You retain ownership of your input data.
• We do not use your input or output data to train models.

7. Data & File Storage

• Files uploaded through our API are stored securely and are accessible only to your account.
• We may delete files after a period of inactivity as specified in our documentation.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any files through the Services.

8. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services with reasonable notice.

9. Beta Program

• Beta access is limited to university students and educators with a valid .edu.tw email address.
• School and role information you provide during application must be truthful and accurate.
• Beta spots are limited. We reserve the right to reject any application without providing a reason.
• Service availability, model access, and rate limits may change at any time during the beta period.
• We may collect additional usage data during the beta period to improve service quality.

10. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.
• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
• Upon termination, unused credits may be subject to our Refund Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
